It's JOB FAIR time!! We know you need positions and we have the perfect opportunity for you to recruit and interview applicants!
The MPSD Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Moss Point High School's Commons Area from 4:30-6:30 PM. Set up is from 4:00-4:30 PM.
We would like each school and department to set up a table and promote your prospective positions. Even if you do not currently have openings, we are trying to compile a pool of good applicants. Therefore, we are asking:
- You have a table with a display. The display should show either student work, specific school art, or whatever way you wish to promote your school and students.
- We encourage student-leader participation. Students can help with the display tables and welcoming candidates.
- A table will be available for on-the-spot interviews. HR will provide basic interview questions and a list of what not to ask during interviews ahead of time.
- A one-page application will be provided so you can get information quickly and efficiently.
- Tables and chrome books will be provided for applicants who want to complete the actual application during the job fair.
- Areas will be available for on-the-spot interviews.
- Each department and school is to provide a door prize valued at $10.00.
- A prize will be awarded to the school and/or department with the most engaged table and the best-decorated table!! Friendly competition never hurts anyone!
We have encouraged potential applicants to bring their resumes and certifications to the job fair.
Please confirm your department’s participation by responding to this email with the department positions you will be looking for. HR will request permission to post for those positions.
