8th Grade CTE Tour

120 - 8th grade students will tour the CTE
Ms. Seals will meet students at the building entrance and break the students into 8 groups of 15 students
Each student group will start at 1 of 8 CTE programs
- Group 1 - Welding
- Group 2 - Culinary Arts
- Group 3 - Engineering
- Group 4 - Aquaculture
- Group 5 - Business
- Group 6 - Family & Consumer Science
- Group 7 - Early Childhood Education
- Group 8 - Health Science
Each group will visit each program for 12 minutes and rotate to the next program in the same order as above
Instructors should plan to spend 12 minutes on a quick presentation of their program and why students should join
Mrs. Green will time each rotation and make an announcement when it's time to rotate to the next group
Teachers will stand in the hallway between each rotation with a clearly visible sign so our students will know where to go
Ms. Ford will remain in and direct rotations on the upstairs hallway
Mrs. Spain will remain in and direct rotations on the engineering hallway
Ms. Seals will remain in and direct rotations on the welding hallway

Note:

Magnolia is only sending 5 chaperones. With this in mind three of the eight groups will need to be closely monitored and guided by our hall monitors (Ford, Seals, and Spain).
